How long does it takes to make a wedding stationery?

The wedding collection is pre-designed for the most part. The entire process usually takes 4-5 weeks from the time of purchase to shipment. Please add 3 weeks if you have purchased a custom illustration such as portraits or a map.

Which parts of the Wedding Collection are customizable?

In the standard version of the suites the lettering (couple names) and information text will be customized to your needs. Optionally the invitation can be personalized with a hand illustrated couple portrait above the name lettering. Also the the detail cards can be customized with an illustrated map on the back. This could be the location of the wedding venue for instance.

What is the difference between ‘frame invitation’ and ‘portrait invitation’?

For the invitation design you have two options. The ‘frame invitation’ has a floral frame that highlights the custom lettering work and text made and customized for you. The ‘portrait invitation’ features a hand illustrated couple portrait surrounded by matching florals as the main element on the top with the lettering work below. Both options are stunning and balanced that are sure to delight your guests with the thought of your wedding day.

What are the sizes of each suite item?

Generally all items are printed in DIN format. The main invitations and menus come in A5 (148×210 mm) size. The detail cards and map are printed in A6 (105×148 mm). The save the date cards and corresponding envelopes are printed in a square format of 150 x 150 mm.

Where do you ship to?

I am delighted to serve clients worldwide and I personally review and pack every single order before shipping from my studio in Cologne, Germany. Orders inside the EU usually arrive in 1-2 Weeks. Please consider though that delivery can take up to 4 weeks depending on your location. This goes especially for shipping destinations outside Europe. In that case please calculate some safety time of about 2-4 weeks. If needed express shipping can be calculated and arranged.

What type of paper do you use?

All stationery is printed on a 280 g/sqm high quality paper. It comes with a slightly warm tone of color, delicate lined texture and clean edges highlighting illustrations and lettering.

How long can my text on the invitations be?

Usually the invitation should only contain the most relevant information. Most texts are therefore around 100-200 characters long. If you need to give more information, I recommend to order the ‘detail card’ as part of your stationery. Should you need help with the content or phrasing of your texts I can offer you some guideline text.

Do you hand paint each piece of stationery?

No, but each wedding suite was originally hand painted with gouache and watercolor. The suites I offer are digital reproductions but look just as stunning as their originals.

I want colored envelopes. Can I use my own envelopes?

Yes, of course! At the moment I only offer soft white envelopes with the matching envelope liner for each collection as they work perfectly together. If you want to use your own, coloured envelopes I recommend looking for shades that are part of the artwork or that compliment it.

Will my envelopes be addressed?

By default the envelopes will come blank. If you want them to be addressed with hand lettering please let me know. Addressing services are charged separately and start at 150 EUR (50 envelopes).

Will all items of the suite be assembled?

No, I usually ship all items unassembled. If you want this can be done for you though. Please let me know when you contact me. Assembling services are charged separately and start at 60 EUR (50 sets).

What is your return policy?

All orders are final as they are customized for you. Should there be any problem with your order please let me know so we can find a solution.
