I am so happy to show you one of my dearest custom stationery suites. In the beginning of 2016, a lovely Brazilian bride contacted me to create her wedding stationery. She was going to marry a Portuguese chef in summer 2017. I created all the stationery details for invitations and also for the event, with a lot of time to spare. The wedding took place in Portugal, at Quinta de Sant’Ana . The venue is an idyllic vineyard farm near Lisbon and the theme was one of the couple’s favorite ingredient: mediterranean lemons.
Details about the couple were all over the suite. In the invitation, a portrait of the couple and their sweet dog, the table names had their favorite places in Rio and in Lisboa instead of numbers, in addition as a keepsake for the guests, a illustrated map of Portugal. All the work is made with gouache and watercolor, and pure black ink for the hand lettering. The full suite contained a digital save the date, invitations, envelopes lined with a signature lemon pattern. For the event, a menu, table names, guest list and postcards.
Creating custom stationery is one of the most rewarding task for me. From the concept and artwork process, to getting the printed pieces and carefully packing the stationery, it’s all very fulfilling. I’m very grateful for the couples who chose me to be part of their wedding day. If you are interested in having a custom stationery for your wedding, take a look at my wedding page. I would love to create something unique for you.
